3-to 6 sessions are required. A number of sessions based upon doctors exam factoring age and severity of skin damage. Microneedling can be only scheduled once a month. Each session includes in addition to microneedling complementary acupuncture treatment and B12 injection.

How does it work -
The needles create tiny Micro-channels on the surface of the skin(epidermis). The micro-channels stimulate a healing response in the skin, which increases the production of both collagen and elastin. Is Microneedling painful?
Microneedling can create mild discomfort during the procedure and depends on a person’s pain threshold. Local anesthetics will be applied to the area, plus we are offering an acupuncture treatment which will manage pain and promote comfort during the procedure.
How many treatments will I need and how often I can receive microneedling?

Contraindications:
Accutane within 6 months, Scleroderma, collagen vascular disease, or cardiac abnormalities, rosacea, blood clotting problems, platelet abnormalities, anticoagulation therapy (i.e.: Warfarin), fascial cancer, past and present, chemotherapy, steroid therapy, dermatological diseases affecting the face (i.e. Porphyria), diabetes and other chronic conditions, active bacterial or fungal infections, immune-suppression, scars less than 6 months old and Botox/facial fillers in the past 2-4 weeks. Treatment is not recommended for patients who are pregnant or nursing. Keloid or raised scarring, eczema, psoriasis, actinic keratosis, and herpes simplex, cold, and flu, acute sinus infection, acute acne. Please cancel your appointment if you have any contraindications to the procedure listed above.
What you need to know before and after microneedling procedure.
Before Your Appointment:
- On the day of the appointment do not use makeup, perfume, or any other cosmetic creams on the area of microneedling
- No chemical peels 2-3 weeks prior to microneedling.
- Avoid sun exposure or tanning for 2 weeks prior to procedure.
- Any fillers or forms of Botox should be done 3 weeks prior to the microneedling.
- Stop use of any retinol or creams with acid one week prior to procedure.
- If you on prescribed blood thinners, please contact your MD for permission to have procedure.
After Your Appointment:
You will gradually see tone, turgor, and smoothness improvements in about 1-2 weeks. Improvement of pigmentation usually takes longer, about 3-4 weeks, and will further improve with the 2nd and 3rd microneedling session. Wrinkles usually will start to improve after the second microneedling session.
- Downtime after the procedure about 1-3 days. You will feel itching, dryness, burning sensation, swelling, and redness. All these symptoms are light and only will cause light discomfort. These symptoms could be more pronounced if your skin is very sensitive.
- Dryness and exfoliation up to 10 days.
- Use arnica spray or grape water spray to calm down the skin.
- Do not apply makeup for 3 days after the procedure.
- Resume exercise 48-72 hours after treatment.
- DO NOT tan and use sunblock if sun exposure cannot be avoided.
- Gently cleanse skin with just water for 3 days. You can add a gentle cleanse after 3-5 days. Use Moisturizing light cream on your skin the next day.
- No chemical peels for one month after microneedling.
- Botox & fillers may be done after all symptoms of skin irritation are gone.
Hair growth enhancement with Microneedling and plant-based stem cells required 3 -6 sessions.
